Career profile management — organizing your work experience, skills, education, certifications, and achievements in one place.
AI skill discovery — surfacing skills you may not have listed through interactive, guided interviews.
Job application tracking — saving, organizing, and tracking the status of the jobs you apply to.
AI cover letters and tailored resumes — generating documents adapted to a specific job description.
Job-description analysis and company/role intelligence — analyzing a posting and researching the company and role.
ATS scoring and interview prep — scoring how well your materials match a role and helping you prepare.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time without prior notice.

3. Account registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:

Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
Maintain and promptly update your account information.
Keep your password secure and confidential.
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

You may not use another person's account without permission. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Subscriptions and billing

4.1 Subscription plans

Resumello offers various subscription plans with different features and usage limits. The specific features and pricing for each plan are displayed on our pricing page and may be updated from time to time.

4.2 Billing

By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis depending on your chosen plan. Payments are processed by our payment processor, Stripe; we do not store full card numbers.

4.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation:

Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
You will not be charged for subsequent billing periods.
No refunds will be provided for partial billing periods.

4.4 Refunds

Except as required by law, all subscription fees are non-refundable. If you believe you have been charged in error, please contact our support team within 30 days of the charge.

4.5 Price changes

We reserve the right to modify subscription prices at any time. Price changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance and will apply to subsequent billing periods.

5. Acceptable use policy

You agree not to use the Service to:

Use automated means to scrape or collect data from the Service.
Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization.
Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service.

You may upload files in PDF, DOCX, DOC, or TXT format, up to 5 MB each. Uploading files in other formats, or that exceed this limit, may be rejected.

6. User content

6.1 Your content

You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Service, including resumes, cover letters, work history, and other professional information ("User Content"). By uploading User Content, you grant us a limited license to use, process, and store this content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

6.2 Content accuracy

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your User Content. You represent and warrant that:

All information you provide is truthful and accurate.
You have the right to share any content you upload.
Your content does not violate any third-party rights.

6.3 Content removal

You may delete your User Content at any time through your account settings. We may also remove content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable.

7. Intellectual property

Resumello uses third-party artificial intelligence services — primarily Google Gemini for content generation and analysis, together with any configured fallback models — to generate suggestions, analyze documents, and create content. Your career data is sent to these providers solely to generate responses for your requests. You understand and acknowledge that:

AI-generated content is created algorithmically and may contain errors or inaccuracies.
You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated content before use.
AI suggestions are advisory in nature and do not guarantee job placement or interview success.
Your data is processed by third-party AI providers as described in our Privacy Policy.

8.2 Ownership of AI-generated content

Documents generated by our AI based on your User Content (such as tailored resumes and cover letters) are considered derivative works of your User Content. You own these generated documents and may use them as you see fit, subject to these Terms.

8.3 No employment guarantee

While we strive to help you present your qualifications effectively, we make no guarantee that using our Service will result in job interviews, offers, or employment. Career outcomes depend on many factors beyond our control.

9. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to our collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

Accuracy or completeness of content.
Uninterrupted or error-free operation.

We do not warrant that the Service will meet your specific requirements or expectations, or that any errors will be corrected.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RESUMELLO AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities.
Damages arising from your use or inability to use the Service.
Damages arising from reliance on AI-generated content.
Damages resulting from unauthorized access to your account.

Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Resumello and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, and suppliers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to:

Your violation of these Terms.
Your User Content.
Your use of the Service.
Your violation of any third-party rights.

13. Termination

13.1 Termination by you

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting our support team or using the account deletion feature in your settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

13.2 Termination by us

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to breach of these Terms.

13.3 Effect of termination

Upon termination:

Your license to use the Service terminates immediately.
We may delete your account and User Content.
Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

14. Modifications to terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will:
